What Is Balayage?

Although balayage utilises highlighting techniques, balayage and highlights are not the same. Traditional highlights involve the same intensity of colour being applied throughout the length of hair they are applied to.

Whereas, balayage tends to be applied closer to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair rather than the roots. This means that root growth is less noticeable with balayage, which is what makes it a low-maintenance hair colour.

Babylights
